The BC International Post-Graduate stream is designed for immigrants who have recently completed graduate-level studies from a recognized British Columbia university.

| Level of Education | – Have completed recently Master’s degree at a BC post-secondary institution in one of these programs:
o agriculture, agriculture operations and related sciences o biological and biomedical sciences o computer and information sciences and support services o engineering o engineering technology and engineering-related fields o health professions and related programs o mathematics and statistics o natural resources conservation o physical sciences – Have Doctor degree in any field of study at a public British Columbia University (Ph.D. candidates in BC may also be eligible). – Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) are not eligible. – Must apply for BC PNP within 3 years of graduation provided the date stated in the degree is less than 12 months after completing the study program. |
| Work Experience | – Need not require work experience to apply for this stream. |
| Language Proficiency | – Need not demonstrate any specific language proficiency requirements. |
| Settlement Funds | – Meet the settlement funds requirement set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
– Can be demonstrated through personal financial resources or by holding a valid offer of employment. |
| Connection to Province | – Have completed a master’s or doctoral degree program at a recognized post-secondary institution in British Columbia.
– Demonstrate their ability and intent to live, work and economically establish in BC. |
How to Apply
- Candidates apply online, choosing between Express Entry and Skills Immigration.
- Candidate shall have to pay the application fee.
- If approved, candidates get a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
- Applicants can request a work permit with provincial support.
- Express Entry applicants receive a 600-point CRS boost upon provincial nomination.
- Express Entry applications shall be processed
