This category is for foreign corporations who have identified strategic investment opportunity to establish operations in the province of BC and propose a maximum 5 keys staff members who can be nominated for permanent residency in Canada.

– Must be in sound financial health and having a successful business operations outside Canada that are relevant to the proposed business in BC. – Must have annual revenue of a minimum of $20,000,000 (20 Million CAD). – Must have a minimum of 150 staff members in the corporation. – Make a minimum of $500,000 directed towards the corporation’s operation in BC – May propose up to 5 senior key staff members crucial for the new BC enterprise’s setup and operation. – Create a minimum of 3 new full-time jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents for each key member proposed. |
Key Staff Members Requirements | – Must be qualified senior personnel and essential to establishing and operating the business.
– Must not be inadmissible to Canada. |
Application Procedure
Initial Contact and Registration
- Interested companies contact BC PNP, discuss their proposal, and register interest.
Eligibility Assessment and Invitation to Apply
- BC PNP assesses eligibility and invites a complete corporate application and key staff member fee.
Interview and Performance Agreement
- Key staff attend an interview in Vancouver and sign a performance agreement with BC.
Work Permit Support Letter
- BC PNP issues work permit support letters.
- Key staff apply for a two-year work permit from IRCC.
Arrival and Implementation
- Key staff arrive in BC and begin implementing the business plan.
Provincial Nomination and Permanent Residence Application
- If the company fulfills the agreement and BC PNP nominates key staff then Key staff may apply for Canadian permanent residence.
