This stream is specifically tailored for experienced business owners or senior business managers looking to own and actively manage and to settle in New Brunswick.

| Express Entry Profile | – Need not to be enrolled in the Federal Express Entry pool. |
| Age | – Between the ages of 22 and 55 Years for which points are allotted. |
| Job Offer | Need not required job offer to apply under this stream |
| Level of Education | – Have completed a minimum of 2 years of full-time post-secondary education after completing high school. |
| Work Experience | – Have owned at least one-third (33.33%) of a business, and
– Have at least 3 years out of the last 5 years of experience in managing and owning a business, or have 5 Years out of 5 of experience in a senior business management role or more Have been responsible for supervising minimum 2 employees while managing the business |
| Language Proficiency | – Demonstrate language proficiency in either English or French – Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 or higher. |
| Connection to Province | – Have visited New Brunswick for a minimum of 5 business days within the last 24 months, or
– Have participated in an Entrepreneurial Stream information session during the same period. |
| Personal Net Worth Requirement | – Have a personal verifiable net worth of at least $600,000 CAD,
– Have at least $300,000 CAD out of these $600,000 CAD net worth readily available / liquid and unencumbered funds. |
| Investment Requirement | – Invest at least $250,000 CAD in the business in New Brunswick
– Establish a new business or purchase an existing business in New Brunswick – Own minimum one-third (33.33%) of the business – Have to actively manage the business. – Be their business of economic benefit to New Brunswick in a private sector, for – profit business. – Create minimum 2 full time Jobs for Canadian Citizens or Permanent Resident |
