The International Graduates in Demand stream is for recent international graduates whose skills and education match specific National Occupational Classification (NOC) job categories, currently open to workers in the below mentioned NOC job categories.
Candidates who have received a nomination or endorsement under Nova Scotia nomination program or Atlantic Immigration program with in last 12 months are not eligible to apply. Besides, candidates who are in Canada a part of caregiver program, and self-employed candidates are not eligible to apply.

Job Offer | – Have a valid full time job from Nova Scotia employer in the below mentioned job categories
· NOC 32102: Paramedical occupations · NOC 32124: Pharmacy technicians · NOC 33102: nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates · NOC 42202: early childhood educators and assistants
– who has operated in Nova Scotia for the past 2 years. – Have already been working with the employer minimum of 6 months, if Job offer is for a position at TEER 4 or 5 National Occupation Classification (Previously NOC Skill Level C or D) |
Level of Education | – Have at least a high school diploma from Canada or its equivalent.
– Must have a diploma in case of applying under NOC 32102 or 32124 – Must have a certificate or diploma or degree if applying under NOC 33102 – Must have diploma or a degree if applying under NOC 42202 – Have required certifications issued by Nova Scotia regulatory bodies as per the occupational requirements. – Must have completed the study program with in the 3 year of their application. |
Work Experience | – Need not to have work experience to apply under these categories. |
Language Proficiency | – Demonstrate language proficiency at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) in English or French of Level 5. |
Connection to Province | – Intention to reside to live, work and economically establish in the province. |
Settlement Funds Requirement | – Must have enough funds to successfully settle in Nova Scotia. |
Employer Requirement | – Must have operated in Nova Scotia for at least 2 years.
– Must have a history of good work place and business practices and be compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. |
