| Employer Requirements | · Business Requirements:
– Have been in active business for minimum 3 years in Ontario. – Meet the gross annual revenue requirements for the most recently completed tax year:
o Inside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – City of Toronto, Durham, Halton, York and Peel regions: Minimum of $1 million CAD., and employ at least 5 full-time employees, or o Outside GTA: Minimum of at least $500,000 CAD., and 3 full-time workers. · Recruitment Requirements: – Demonstrate reasonable efforts to hire a Canadian for the position before offering it to foreign employees. |
Application Procedure
- Eligible candidates submit an EOI via the OINP’s e-Filing Portal , where profiles are ranked based on points.
- Highest-ranked candidates receive invitations to apply during OINP draws.
- Upon receiving an ITA, applicants have 14 days to apply for provincial nomination.
- The OINP reviews applications and notifies selected candidates via their ONe-Key account.
- Nominees submit paper-based permanent residence applications by mail.
- PNP applications typically take about 18 months to process.
