This initiative provides provincial nominations to skilled tradespersons who possess active Express Entry profiles, are residing in Ontario, and hold relevant Ontario work experience in their respective trades.
Foreign nationals cannot apply to the program directly. Candidates in the Express Entry pool are considered when an Express Entry profile is submitted by them. A Notification of Interest (NOI) is sent to the Express Entry accounts who are invited to apply.
Ontario Skilled Trades Stream will receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) through their Express Entry accounts. The NOI is an invitation to apply for provincial nomination.
