This program is designed for individuals who have received a job offer from a trucking firm in Saskatchewan and have been working for the same employer in Saskatchewan for at least 6 months on a valid work permit. Refugee claimant are not eligible to apply under this program.

Application Procedure
- Applications for the Saskatchewan Long-Haul Truck Driver Project stream can be submitted through the SINP Online Portal.
- There is no application fee for this program.
- If your application is accepted by the province, you will receive a notification via email informing you that you have been chosen for provincial nomination.
- With the provincial nomination, you can then apply to the federal government for Canadian permanent residency. You have six months to file your. application for permanent residency after receiving the provincial nomination.
- For permanent residency, participants in this program must complete a paper application and mail it to the appropriate application center. Processing times for permanent residence applications submitted on paper typically take around 18 months.
