Express Entry Requirement:
Applicants must be registered in the federal Express Entry pool & have a valid Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Code.
They must be eligible for at least one of the three federal economic programs:
Federal Skilled Worker (FSW):
Candidate must:
- Have a high school diploma, at minimum
- Have at least 1 year of continuous full-time, skilled work experience, obtained in a position at National Occupations Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A or B.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French with Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 7.
Canadian Experience Class (CEC):
Candidate must:
- Not have minimum education requirement.
- Have at least 1 year of full-time skilled work experience in Canada.
- Have their work experience be within the 3 years before application, and it does not need to be continuous, obtained within 3 years prior to application, obtained in a position at National Occupations Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A or B.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French with Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 7 for work experience obtained at NOC Skill Level 0 or A.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French with Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 5 for work experience obtained at NOC Skill Level B.
Federal Skilled Trades (FST):
Candidate must:
- Not have minimum education requirement.
- Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in a skilled trade occupation
- Have either an offer of an employment to work in a skill trade in Canada or a certification of qualification in their skill trade issued by a Canadian authority.
- Demonstrate language proficiency in English or French with Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 5 for speaking and listening, (CLB) Level 4 for reading and writing.
Level of Education:
Candidates must:
- Have at least the equivalent of a 1 Year post-secondary diploma, certificate or a degree related to their intended occupation.
- Have any additional educational required to perform the in-demand occupation.
Work Experience:
Candidates must:
- Have at least 1 year of continues work experience in an occupation at TEER 0,1,2 or 3 (Previously NOC Level O, A or B) as required under Express Entry category requirement.
- Have their work experience related to their job and education.
- Have required license or certificate if the job performance needs it specifically.
- Not have their occupation listed on the SINP Excluded Occupation List

- Demonstrate language proficiency as per Express Entry category requirements.

Settlement Funds:
Candidates must:
- Meet Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) settlement funds requirement & have a settlement plan (can evident through their own funds or having a valid job offer).
Application Procedure
- Eligible candidates create a profile on the SINP Online website, where they are evaluated and scored based on the SINP Ranking System.
- High-scoring candidates are invited during SINP Draws to submit a comprehensive application for provincial nomination within a specified timeframe.
- ITA recipients must submit a thorough application to the Saskatchewan government and pay a non-refundable $350 CAD fee.
- If approved, candidates are notified through their Express Entry profile and have 30 days to accept the provincial nomination.
- Accepting the nomination boosts the candidate’s CRS score by 600 points, virtually guaranteeing an ITA for permanent residence in the next Express Entry draw.
- Candidates with an ITA for permanent residence have a specific timeframe to submit their formal application through the Express Entry system.
- Express Entry permanent residency requests are typically processed in about six months.
